Will beer cause gout?
The answer seems to be yes…
Not going to stop me from drinking beer. Recently I have been visiting many pubs across the UK and sampling not only the atmosphere and the history of the pub but also the local ales which are very popular in the UK. Beer has been drunk for centuries as an alternative to water which in the old days was something most people did not attempt to drink. Alternative was beer and wine. So as I write I'm opening up an Old Speckled Hen. Yachi da as we say in Wales.

It seem more like what KIND of beer you drink. Perhaps chemical additives will do it? I don't know. Yes, beer has been drunk for centuries, as my archaeology professor said, the pot shards found in Mesopotamia contained beer
