War is obsolete. If we don't act fast, we will be obsolete. We probably have less than 10 years to address this.

The reality of the situation? Civilian deaths by drone strikes under the Obama administration alone are estimated to be between 200 and 1000 innocent, "collateral damage" casualties, higher than all of the US mass shootings combined. We need gun control NOW...for the government.

Bunch of fantasy bullshit in this next piece, but gives you a rough idea of the technology in moving pictures, if you haven't heard of it by now.

Hello 4Fingers. Buffy St. Marie is a shining example of one who has overcome cultural limitations in her outreach to all people to speak their truth. When I first saw her perform in the 70,s I was not aware of the cultural genocide done to native people in residential schools thanks to public indoctrination camps called the public education system, I did not have any reason to question the official government narrative passed off as history.
On another track, how do you like living out on Vancouver Island? I have not been out there in several years when I hiked done the west coast trail on the west side from Bamfield.

Hi Alain, I moved to Vancouver Island from Ontario in 1975 - so I've been here for a bit. That was a deliberate move - the best average temperature in Canada . And the population now is still only ~330K for the entire island. I've been to Bamfield many times and as a windsurfer on Nitinat lake (inland end) saw many trail hikers boated up the lake . I never have done the trail - good for you!

I am from N-western Ontario originally and came west 36 years ago. I intially spent time on the Island and Vancouver for a winter circling to Calgary where I presently live. I am on holidays and plan to head out to B.C. for camping and visit some Hot springs. This is what I love about that area. The city is rezoning the place I am in now and will have to move. So I am contemplating getting together with others interested in Ubuntu principles
What brings you here to this site? Do you want to join a community initiative where you are locate?.
