Interested to hear Max speak of global non-compliance day. Anybody got any ideas about picking a date and trying to get it going? No working, no buying anything. A problem for those of us who work for money and actually like our employers, or work for friends, but so what, in the greater scheme of things. I heard of 'national no-buy day' in the States, but haven't heard of it in the U.K. where I am.
Xmas no work day !!;) sorry

That was funny! The only people who can really do 'no buy' are those who live near a source of pure water and produce their own food. Which is hardly anyone today! I think it was George Carlin talking about the system...'they got you by the balls!'...Finding it difficult to use some of the functions on this site but hopefully this gets to you. Where are you? Best wishes, Julie in London, U.K.

Maybe a " don't buy useless crap " day ? No films , no games , no shit you don't need for a day . Maybe turn off TV etc

Nice idea. I do try not to buy useless crap having just started to clear it from my house. It's like when you go to children's parties and the host feels they have to include crappy plastic 'prizes' for everything. Just landfill site food really. Then you see the host sweeping it all up and shoving in a
black bag as the party ends...amazing how intelligent people get sucked into it, even those who are against it. 'Can't disappoint the kids' etc etc.
