After a few weeks of not eating meat, you will feel a lot more healthy and you will be free of the guilt of being part of the factory farming process too.

The lives were taken
For feasts at the table
A life of misery
Ending with a shock

Brutal murder
(Brutal murder)
All hands to the slaughter
Mass torture
All hands to the knife

And I can hear the screams
With the knife, the jolt, the wring
They must follow in our dreams
Carrying a twisted sting

Children's stories with their farmyard favorites
At the table in a different disguise

Children's stories with their farmyard favorites
At the table in a different disguise

Don't talk to me of health
Or something someone else will do
We're talking about the act
Of taking life for me and you

And I hear their screams
And I hear their screams
And I hear their screams
And I hear their screams

Violet, You could also take part in the anti- fracking movement, I believe this is a very important thing, make it so much hard work for them now, otherwise, they will destroy the entire country! Just google frack off and you will find an organisatiobn near you!

I am actually a Vegan...I used to be Vegetarian...it wasn't enough to just not eat meat...The dairy industry is the sickest industry next to the Meat industry.

you can cunningly delete naughty glitches by hitting the "Delete" button next to your repetitive post ....eggs,I`ve wide range chickens all over the place here...I probably won`t give up eggs...unless I begin to consider what they really are...which I`m not atm :P

I considered giving up eggs completely when my son called them by their real name...Hen Periods...but I have got my head around it now...You see I am also Gluten / Wheat free which considerably cuts down my options. I am seriously animal cruelty free and will not purchase ANY eggs that aren't laid by my girls...As unfortunately free range eggs are not necessarily what we would call free range...They are allowed to call them free range even if thousands are stuffed into a big open room...so long as they are not individually caged so that isnt good enough for me. Iknow my girls are free to roam and are fed on 100% clean organic food with corn treats and leftover raw veggie peelings. They also get loves and hugs

Another thing to think about is whether or not a cockeral has been kept in with the chickens as then you are in danger of eating eggs that have been fertilised...embryos Plus think of all the little baby chicks that they literally throw into the grinder every year....makes me feel sick When my girls stop laying, then I stop eating eggs...when they stop laying for good they become my pets until their natural end and then the cycle starts again.

Oh yes....and fracking. Yes it worries me greatly, but at the moment I have my fingers in too many pies to take something else on. I try to sign as many petitions as possible and share info which I guess is better than nothing...

" little baby chicks that they literally throw into the grinder every year....makes me feel sick" would be in the 000's, in fact at least 50% ( all male chicks are killed!) I get my eggs from a local farm where you can see the hens doing their natural thing, if we ever have to buy from the supermarket, their " free range" eggs have a yellow yolk, whereas our usual ones are golden, and much tastier! I am a builder and need plenty of protien, so eggs are a simple source.

Yeah, I still like to eat my eggs, but I do have to say...I have seen many Vegan bodybuilders who are amazing....There are very good sources of protein other than meats and eggs...These guys are living proof. :0
