Hi to everyone

Looking forward to seeing what the Website has to say. I notice there are a lot of people within a 50 mile radius of me. So I thought it would be a great idea for as many of us to meet up as possible? It would give us all a great opportunity to have a natter with like minded people and get to know each other ahead of the website launch. I'm sure between us we can brainstorm some funky ideas. Halls and rooms are pretty cheap around my way so I'm willing to pay one and if we all bring a few sarnies and drinks etc than were sorted. If your interested let me know and in the meantime I will try and contact as many as possible.
Hi Fred. Sounds good to me...

Fred - Good to meet you and YES I agree we should create community meetings in public places and create ways to get the community masses involved like a social group with info, resources etc. Even a Q&A forum where the public asks the questions and we stay on topic specificly as there is so much going on for them to process and comprehend, we have to drip feed until the light comes on and they run with the baton

yeah I been thinking about this one for a while and wanted to approach Max about it, but he is so busy doing so many things. We have to do it We just mirror like Q&A program on the ABC even if we can eventually create a TV show where there is a panel of leaders or informed individuals in this community and contacts that Max has and we have an audience with questions in person and coming in on social media.....we make the masses feel involved and speak their mind, as thinking of their questions evoke critical thinking etc, once that is done it will ignite something within them, because we they just listen to people speak they tend to switch off and let you do all the work because that is easier and keeps them waiting for someone else to fix the problem

Sounds like a really cool idea. I agree that people have a tendency to just switch off at times a more interactive approach might well be the way forward.

Sounds good to me. I'm also keen on the idea of actually meeting each other in the flesh rather than online. Just seems more human.

yep, this platform seems created partly for aiding physical meetings, and building real community. I am at a distance to you all, but if you are ever doing something pertinent, it would be great to make the track across!
